Our Rules of Play
By visiting us, you are accepting these Rules of Play
Mini Mischiefs is a safe and fun Soft Play Centre for families with children up to the age of 10 years. Please take a moment to read these important rules to ensure everyone has a great time.
1. Parental Supervision
All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult, who must remain within the building at all times. Mini Mischiefs does not accept responsibility for the supervision of children.
Parents / guardians must:
- Accept full responsibility to supervise their children at all times.
- Observe their children to ensure they are using the equipment safely.
- Explain these rules of play to the children and monitor their behaviour.
2. Safety & Behaviour
- Illness: Children who are unwell, particularly with sickness or diarrhoea, must not visit the centre for at least 48 hours after symptoms cease.
- Respect: Fighting, bullying, or destructive behaviour towards staff or other customers will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to ask families to leave without refund if rules are broken.
- Climbing: No climbing on the external play structure, netting, or barriers.
- Accidents: Please report all accidents to a member of staff immediately so we can provide assistance and log the incident.
- CCTV: For child protection, CCTV is in operation throughout the venue.
3. Clothing & Hygiene
Before entering the play area, adults must ensure that:
- Footwear: Shoes are removed and SOCKS ARE WORN by anyone entering the play frame.
- Valuables & Sharps: Remove jewellery, badges, watches, money, and pens before playing.
- Glasses: Take extra care if wearing glasses. Shatter-proof lenses and retainers are recommended.
- Clothing: Long sleeves and trousers are recommended to minimise the risk of friction burns. Clothes with cords or ropes should not be worn.
- Hygiene: Chewing gum is strictly prohibited. Please wash hands after using the toilet.
4. Food, Drink & Facilities
- Food Policy: Only food and drink purchased at Mini Mischiefs may be consumed on the premises. (Exception: Baby food/formula for infants under 1 year).
- No Food on Frame: Absolutely no food or drink is allowed on the play equipment.
- Nappy Changing: Please use the designated baby changing facilities. Place nappies in the bins provided.
- Time Limits: Play is restricted to the amount of time for the session to ensure fair access for everyone.
5. Photography Policy
To protect the privacy and safety of all children:
- Please ensure you only take photos or videos of your own children.
- Images of other children must not be taken without their parents' permission.
6. Play Session Booking & Cancellation
Booking:
- Play sessions can be booked online and are subject to availability.
- Full payment is taken at the time of booking.
- A confirmation email will be sent with your booking reference.
Cancellations & Transfers:
- More than 24 hours before: Free transfer to another date (subject to availability). No refunds are available.
- Less than 24 hours before or no-shows: No refund or transfer will be offered.
Late Arrivals: If you arrive after your session has started, your play time will be reduced accordingly. We are unable to extend sessions as this affects other guests.
7. Party Cancellation & Rebooking
If you need to cancel or rearrange a party booking, the following policy applies:
- 30+ days before: Free transfer to a new date, or full refund minus the non-refundable deposit.
- 14–29 days before: Date transfer only. Refunds are not available.
- Under 14 days before: No refunds or date changes can be made. This applies even in cases of illness or emergency.
Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to a new date (subject to availability).

8. Annual Pass Terms
General:
- Annual Passes are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
- Passes are non-transferable and linked to the named child only.
- A valid pass must be presented (via QR code in your portal) at each visit.
- Annual Passes grant entry to standard play sessions only. They do not include parties, private hire, or special events unless stated.
- Passes may be suspended or revoked if these Rules of Play are repeatedly broken.
Monthly Subscription (Direct Debit):
- Monthly subscriptions have a 12-month minimum commitment. You cannot cancel before 12 monthly payments have been made.
- Payments are taken automatically each month via your chosen payment method.
- Under consumer regulations, a 14-day cooling-off period applies from the date of your first subscription payment. You may cancel within this period for a full refund.
- If you use the 14-day cooling-off period, your passes will be immediately deactivated and the cooling-off option will not be available on future subscriptions.
- After 12 months, you may cancel at any time. Your pass remains active until the end of the current billing period.
Failed Payments:
- If a monthly payment fails, you will have a 7-day grace period to update your payment method.
- If payment is not received within 7 days, your pass will be suspended until the payment is resolved.
- You can update your payment method at any time via your customer portal.
Refunds:
- Pay-in-full: Annual Passes paid in full are non-refundable once activated.
- Monthly: Monthly payments already taken are non-refundable. Cancellation only stops future payments.
The Mini Mischiefs team is here to help ensure your enjoyment, but they are not a replacement for parental supervision.
Management reserves the right to refuse admission. By visiting us, you are accepting these Rules of Play.
